Well now, lemme tell ya ’bout this here Disney Presidents Day Soccer Tournament. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s a big deal, they say. Kids runnin’ around, kickin’ a ball. Happens down in Kissimmee, Florida. That’s where Mickey Mouse lives, ya know?
When’s this thing happenin’? Well, they had one in 2024, February 17th to 19th. And they’re gonna have another one in 2025, February 15th to 17th. See, it’s around Presidents Day. That’s when they have them sales at the stores, I think.
Who’s playin’? Boys and girls, both. Little tykes and bigger kids too. They say “U9 to U19.” That means under 9 years old all the way up to under 19. A whole lotta youngsters, I tell ya.
Now, they got this here thing called “GotSoccer Scheduled.” Sounds important. Guess that’s how they figure out who plays who and when. Like them brackets they have for basketball, ya know? March Madness, they call it. This is like… February Fun, maybe?
They say it’s the “ultimate travel soccer experience” at Walt Disney World Resort. Ultimate, huh? That means it’s the best, I reckon. So, you go there, play some soccer, and then maybe see Cinderella’s castle or somethin’. Kids probably love that.

They do this “online check-in” thing now. Fancy, I tell ya. No more standin’ in lines, I guess. You do it all on that computer thingy. Saves time, they say. More time for kickin’ the ball, I reckon.
So, if you got a kid who likes soccer, this might be somethin’ to look into. Sounds like a good time, ‘specially with the Disney part. Who don’t like Disney? Even an old woman like me enjoys a good Mickey Mouse cartoon now and then.
Thinkin’ ’bout goin’? Well, you gotta plan ahead, I guess. Find a place to stay, figure out how to get there. It’s a whole thing. But if your kid’s set on playin’ soccer at Disney, well, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I heard some folks say it’s real competitive. These kids, they take their soccer serious. Trainin’ and practicin’ all year round. Reminds me of them chickens I used to raise. Always peckin’ and scratchin’, tryin’ to be the best chicken in the coop.
Anyways, that’s the gist of it. Disney Presidents Day Soccer Tournament. Kids, soccer, Disney. Sounds like a recipe for a fun weekend, if you ask me. Just remember to bring your sunscreen and plenty of water. Florida sun can be brutal, even in February.
And don’t forget your wallet! Them Disney folks ain’t givin’ nothin’ away for free, that’s for sure. But hey, makin’ memories with the kids, that’s priceless, right? That’s what they all say, anyways.
