Alright, so you wanna know about this Disney Presidents Day thing, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I heard. It’s some kinda big shindig they have down in Florida, in a place called Kissimmee, I think. Sounds fancy, but it’s just a big soccer tournament for the young’uns.
Now, they got all ages there, from the little tykes, like, 9 years old, all the way up to the near-grown ones, 19 and under. Boys and girls, both playin’ ball. They call ’em U9, U10, all the way up to U19. Don’t ask me why they gotta use all them letters and numbers, but that’s how they do it.
This thing happens in February, around Presidents Day. You know, that holiday where they talk about all them old presidents? Yeah, that one. They do it then ’cause I guess folks got time off, kids ain’t in school and all. Makes sense, I reckon.
This year, 2024, it was on February 17th to 19th. But I hear they already plannin’ for next year, 2025. Said it’ll be February 15th to 17th. So if you wanna go, mark your calendar, I guess.

They got a website and all, somethin’ called ESPN Wide World of Sports. You can find all the info there, they say. Prices and all that. I ain’t too good with computers, but maybe your young’uns can figure it out. They say you click on “Events and More” then “Pricing and Info.” Sounds complicated to me.
Now, I heard tell it gets real busy down there that time of year. Presidents Day, Mardi Gras, all that. So if you plannin’ to go, you best get on it. Book your hotels and all that. Don’t wanna be sleepin’ in your car, now do ya?
They got rules and all, too. Can’t just go around kickin’ folks and whatnot. They got a phone number you can call too, somethin’ like 407-938-3805. You can ask ’em all your questions. They probably know more than me, that’s for sure.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about this Disney Presidents Day soccer thing. Sounds like a big deal for the kids who like that kinda stuff. Runnin’ around, kickin’ a ball. Me? I’d rather sit on the porch with a glass of sweet tea, but to each their own, I always say.
