Alright, so listen up, y’all. I heard tell there’s gonna be some wrestlin’ in Boston, yeah, that big city with all them fancy buildin’s. They callin’ it WWE RAW, and it’s comin’ to somethin’ called the TD Garden. Sounds like a fancy name for a place where folks beat each other up, but hey, whatever floats their boat.
Now, they say this here wrestlin’ thing is happenin’ on December 16, 2024. That’s a ways off, but time flies faster than a chicken with its head cut off, so you best be gettin’ ready. I reckon them tickets ain’t gonna be cheap neither. Heard tell they could cost anywhere from a little bit of money to a whole heck of a lot. Something like thirty-five dollars all the way up to sixteen thousand dollars! Lord have mercy, that’s enough to buy a whole farm back home, cows and all!
They got some fellas fightin’ there, fellas with names like Cody Rhodes, that “American Nightmare” they call him. He’s gonna be wrasslin’ with Drew McIntyre, sounds like a grudge match, you know, the kind where they really got somethin’ to prove. Then there’s Jey Uso and that “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio fella. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble if you ask me.
And the women ain’t sittin’ around knittin’ neither! They got a big ol’ match with Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, and that Rhea Ripley woman who’s the WWE Women’s World Champion. Three of ’em in the ring at once! That’s gonna be a real catfight, I tell ya.
Then there’s some tag team action. LA Knight and Kevin Owens, they’re gonna be takin’ on Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. I don’t know much about tag teams, but I reckon it means more folks gettin’ punched in the face, and that ain’t never a bad thing if you ask me. They say it’s gonna be “heart-pounding action”. Well, I reckon my heart pounds enough just chasin’ chickens, but I guess theirs is different somehow.
- They say WWE RAW is comin’ back to Boston. They was there before, in July, seems like they like that city.
- This time it’s on December 16th. Put it on your calendar, if you got one. I just tie a string around my finger, but I usually forget what it’s for anyway.
- Tickets go on sale November 3rd. You gotta be quick, like a fox in a henhouse, if you wanna get the good ones.
- There’s gonna be all kinds of matches. Fellas fightin’, women fightin’, tag teams fightin’. Just a whole lotta fightin’.
They announced a bunch of other places where they’re gonna be wrestlin’ too. Everett, Wichita… all them places I ain’t never heard of. But Boston, that’s the one they’re makin’ a big fuss about. They say it’s a “highly anticipated return”. Well, I reckon folks in Boston must really like watchin’ people beat each other up. To each their own, I always say.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some excitement, and you don’t mind spendin’ a little bit (or a whole lot) of money, then maybe this WWE RAW thing is for you. Just don’t blame me if you get hit by a flyin’ chair or somethin’. Them wrestlers, they ain’t exactly known for their gentle ways. But hey, that’s what makes it fun, right? Or so they tell me.
Anyways, that’s all I know about this wrestlin’ business. Just remember, December 16th, TD Garden, Boston. Don’t forget now, or you’ll miss all the fun. And if you do go, you better bring me back some of them fancy city snacks. I hear they got popcorn with butter, not just that plain stuff we eat at home.
WWE is somethin’ else, always travelin’ around like them salesmen that come through town sellin’ them shiny pots and pans. They say they’re gonna be all over the place in 2024. Guess they got a lot of fightin’ to do. Well, good for them, keeps ’em outta trouble, I suppose. Unless you count gettin’ punched in the face as trouble, then I guess they’re in a whole heap of it.
