So, I was checking out the latest news on WWE NXT, and man, it’s been a wild ride with all these cuts. I mean, I’ve been following NXT for a while now, and it’s always been a place where new talent gets to shine. But recently, it feels like they’re cleaning house or something.
I started digging into it this morning. First thing I did was open up my browser and typed in “WWE NXT cuts.” The search results were crazy. So many articles and forum posts about who got released. It’s like, every other day there’s a new name on the chopping block.
I made a list of the names I saw:
- Dolph Ziggler – This one shocked me. I mean, the guy’s been around since like 2004. He’s a veteran!
- Baron Corbin – Another big name. I remember when he was the United States Champion. He was let go.
- Indi Hartwell – She was the NXT Women’s Champion. I used to see her wrestle all the time.
- Tegan Nox – Another one that surprised me. She was on both NXT and the main roster.
- Gulak – This one’s a bit messy. I read that he was written off after some drama with Ronda Rousey.
After getting all these names down, I started looking into why this is happening. Some people online were saying it’s because of creative changes. Others were talking about budget cuts. And then there’s the whole Vince McMahon situation, which is a whole other can of worms.
I spent a good chunk of the day just reading through everything I could find. I even watched a few YouTube videos where people were discussing the cuts. It’s a lot to take in. I even read somewhere they want to bring in some fresh faces.
By the end of the day, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of what’s going on, but it’s still kind of sad to see so many talented people lose their jobs. It makes you wonder what’s next for NXT and for the wrestlers who got cut. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
