Alright, folks, gather around because I’ve got a story for you. So, I went to the WWE Monday Night RAW in Austin, Texas. Yeah, you heard that right – Austin, the heart of Texas, on August 12th, 2024, at the Moody Center.
First things first, I booked the tickets online. It was easy peasy. Then, I planned my trip. I mean, you can’t just go to a WWE event without making a bit of a fuss, right? I got my old WWE t-shirts out of storage, dusted them off, and packed my bags.
The day finally arrived, and let me tell you, the atmosphere was electric. I got to the Moody Center, and the place was buzzing. Fans everywhere, all hyped up for the show. I found my seat, and it was a pretty decent view. I could see the ring, the stage, everything.
The Show Begins
The show kicked off with Rhea Ripley. Man, she’s a force of nature. The crowd went wild. Then, they announced a 2 out of 3 falls match between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker. Now that was a match! They fought like crazy, and it was super intense. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

- Rhea Ripley opened the show – she’s a beast!
- Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker in a 2 out of 3 falls match – what a battle!
- The crowd was insane – so much energy.
Main Event
The main event was something else. Cody, he’s a classic. The match was about 20 minutes long, and it was top-notch wrestling. I mean, these guys are pros, and they really know how to put on a show. The finish wasn’t perfect, but hey, it’s live, anything can happen.
Other Highlights
They also had CM Punk and Seth Rollins, Lyra Valkyria and IYO Sky, and Chad Gable. They were all great. The whole show lasted about 3 hours, and it was worth every minute. They have some events coming up on April 6, 2024 – April 7, 2024, for the first time at Lincoln Financial Field on April 6th and 7th, 2024 for a 2-day event! Also, I heard about the 2025 Royal Rumble, also promoted as Royal Rumble: Indianapolis; it will be the 38th annual Royal Rumble. It might be fun, who knows?
After the show, I hung around for a bit, soaked up the atmosphere, and then headed home. It was an amazing experience, and I’m so glad I went. If you’re a wrestling fan, you’ve got to check out a live show. It’s something else.
So, that’s my story. Just a regular guy sharing his experience at WWE RAW in Austin. Hope you enjoyed it!
