Man, I’ve always been a huge basketball fan, and recently I really got into the WNBA. The games are so exciting, and the players are incredibly talented. I started following a few teams, and I felt like I needed some gear to show my support. So, I decided to look for a fitted hat, since those are my favorite type.
I started by checking out the official WNBA online store. I browsed through their selection, and they had a decent amount of stuff, but not a lot of fitted hats in the style I was looking for. They had some caps and beanies, but I really wanted a classic fitted hat.
Next, I moved on to the New Era website. I know they make quality hats, so I was hoping they’d have a good WNBA selection. They did have some options, like 9TWENTY adjustable caps and winter knits, but still not exactly what I wanted. I was getting a little bummed at this point.
Then I remembered seeing some sports gear at Rally House before, so I headed over to their website. They had a bunch of WNBA t-shirts, hats, and other stuff, so I was hopeful. They did have some New York Liberty gear, which was cool, but again, not a fitted hat in the style I was after. I scrolled and scrolled, but no luck.
I decided to just search for “WNBA fitted hats” online to see what else might be out there. I came across a mention of Lids Hat Drop releasing some WNBA fitted hats made for women back in December 2022. It sounded promising, they were New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps, which is exactly the style I wanted, and it said they had a variety of colorways.
I also checked out the DICK’S Sporting Goods website, just to see what they had. They had a WNBA Fan Shop with some shirts and stuff, but no luck on the fitted hats. It was a long shot anyway.
Finally, I went to the Lids website and found the Hat Drop section. I searched for WNBA, and there they were! The New Era 59FIFTY fitted hats. They had a bunch of different team logos and colors. I picked out my favorite team’s hat, added it to my cart, and checked out.
I was so excited to finally find the perfect WNBA fitted hat. It took a bit of searching, but it was totally worth it. Now I can rep my team in style!

It took a while, but I’m so glad I didn’t give up. This hat is exactly what I was looking for, and I can’t wait to wear it to the next game I watch!
