Okay, so I’ve always been a huge WWE fan, right? And I’ve always wanted to see a show live. So, I set out to snag some tickets. Here’s how it went down.
Searching for Contests
First, I started looking around online for any contests or sweepstakes that were giving away WWE tickets. I figured that was my best shot. I found a few different places running them.
- There was this one site that was giving away pairs of tickets in the first five rows for Monday Night Raw. All I had to do was sign up. I did that right away. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be that close to the action?
- Another one was for WWE SmackDown tickets. The event was at the Delta Center, and they mentioned Randy Orton would be there. That sounded awesome, so I entered that one too.
- I even found a contest giving away four tickets to WWE: NXT Deadline at The Minneapolis Armory. I’ve never been to an NXT event, so I thought, why not? I signed up for that as well.
- Oh, and there was this website called Sweepstakes Advantage that had a whole bunch of WWE contests listed. They were giving away tickets, memorabilia, and even some “exclusive experiences”. I spent a good chunk of time entering a bunch of those.
The Waiting Game
After I entered all these contests, it was just a waiting game. I kept checking my email every day, hoping to see that winning message. It was kinda nerve-wracking, but I tried to stay positive.
Other Options
While I was waiting, I also looked into what it takes to become a WWE wrestler. Turns out, most of them have at least 3-5 years of pro wrestling experience. The only ones who go straight to WWE are usually recruited from college wrestling or other sports. That was a cool little fact I learned along the way.

I also found out that you can watch WWE online on Sony LIV. I didn’t even know that was a thing! I love watching Sony Liv. I thought I had no way to watch WWE, but I do!
Fingers Crossed
So, that’s where I’m at now. I’m still waiting to hear back about those contests. Fingers crossed that I get lucky! It would be a dream come true to see a WWE show live, especially if I could get some of those front-row seats. It wasn’t easy and there were a lot of hurdles. I signed up and applied to a lot of places that looked good. Hopefully, I get lucky. Wish me luck!
