Okay, so I was browsing through some old wrestling videos the other day, and man, I stumbled upon some of the most brutal matches I’ve ever seen. Seriously, these weren’t your everyday, run-of-the-mill wrestling matches. These were downright barbaric!
First off, I started digging into some classic stuff, and I rewatched the Undertaker vs. Mankind match from King of the Ring 1998. I remember watching it back then, but seeing it again, it was even crazier than I remembered. They were throwing each other off the top of the cage and through tables. I literally cringed. I found myself shouting at the screen, “What are you doing?!”
- I felt really shocked when I saw the scene that Mankind was thrown off.
- I realized how dangerous this match was and how much these guys put their bodies on the line.
- I wondered how they could even walk after that.
Moving On to Other Stuff
Then, I started looking into other matches known for being super brutal. I read about this Mankind vs. The Rock match from the Royal Rumble in 1999. Apparently, this one was just as insane, if not more. It was an “I Quit” match, and let me tell you, it was just as brutal as it sounds. They were beating each other with all sorts of weapons. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be in a match like that.
- I felt worried when I heard about all the weapons used in the match.
- I appreciated the level of intensity and commitment from both wrestlers.
- I wondered how many times that I need to pause to take deep breaths.
Recent Stuff, Too
It wasn’t just the old matches, though. I also checked out this Street Fight between Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon at King of the Ring 2001. This match had everything. They were fighting all over the place, using anything they could get their hands on. Shane even went through glass! I don’t know how these guys do it, but it was insane.

- I was amazed by the insane spots in this match.
- I felt impressed by Shane McMahon’s willingness to take such huge risks.
- I laughed a bit, but I also felt a bit sorry for them.
After watching all these matches, I had to take a break. It was intense! But it also made me appreciate the lengths these wrestlers go to entertain us. They really put their bodies on the line, and it’s something else. I mean, I love watching wrestling, but I don’t think I could ever do what they do. It’s just too much, honestly. But man, were those matches something else. They were brutal, they were crazy, and they were definitely unforgettable. It is so fun to look back on these brutal matches. I will absolutely do this again!
