Alright, listen up, y’all. This here’s the deal with the football games this week, Week 7 they’re callin’ it. Now, I ain’t no expert, but I can tell ya what games you’ll be seein’ on that there TV box of yours, dependin’ on where you’re at.
First off, them fellas in Jacksonville and New England, they’re playin’ way over yonder in London. That’s across the big water, you know. That game’s gonna be on the NFL Network, bright and early at 9:30 in the mornin’, Eastern time, whatever that means. Probably too early for most folks, but some of you early birds might catch it.
Then there’s this big Super Bowl rematch. Now, I don’t rightly remember who played in the Super Bowl last year, too many names and teams for this old gal to keep track of. But they say it’s a big deal, and everyone in the whole country is gonna get to watch it. So, no matter where you are, you’ll see that one. Lucky you!
Now, for the rest of the games, it gets a bit complicated. Seems like they split ’em up, dependin’ on where you live. It’s all about them TV stations, see? CBS and Fox, they’re the ones showin’ the games. And they got their own areas, or “regions” as they call ’em, where they show different games.
- If you’re in one place, you might get the Packers game.
- Move over a bit, and you might get the Cowboys.
- And then there’s the Steelers, always a big draw. Folks seem to like them fellas.
It’s all a big puzzle, I tell ya. But there are these folks, the 506 Sports fellas, they make these maps. They color ’em all up, so you can see what game you’re gonna get. Each color means a different game. It’s kinda like them maps they used to have at the gas station, showin’ you where all the roads go.
So, if you’re wonderin’ what game you’re gonna get, you gotta find one of them maps. I ain’t got one here to show ya, but you can probably find it on that there internet thingy. Just search for “NFL Week 7 coverage map,” and it should pop up. Mind you, I ain’t never used that internet thing myself, but my grandson, he’s always on it.
Now, some of these games are gonna be good, and some are gonna be stinkers. That’s just the way it is with football. You never know which team is gonna show up and play their hearts out, and which one is gonna just lay down and take a nap. But that’s part of the fun, ain’t it? The not knowin’ what’s gonna happen.
And let me tell you, these football players, they’re some big fellas. They run around and hit each other real hard. I don’t know how they do it, all that runnin’ and hittin’. I’d be worn out after five minutes. But they get paid a lot of money, so I guess that’s why they do it.
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on the football games this week. Find yourself a map, figure out what game you’re gonna watch, and settle in for some football. And if your team loses, well, there’s always next week, right? Don’t get too worked up about it. It’s just a game, after all.
One more thing, don’t forget to get yourself some snacks. Can’t watch football without snacks. Some chips, maybe some dip, some of them little sausages. Now you’re ready to watch some football!
