Alright, let me tell ya, wrestling ain’t always pretty. Sometimes, it’s just plain awful. I’ve seen some matches that made me wanna throw my shoe at the TV, I tell ya. So, if you’re lookin’ for the worst WWE matches of all time, you’ve come to the right place.
First off, there was that time, I think it was… yeah, 2007. Extreme Rules, they called it. That little fella, Hornswoggle, was in it. Now, I like a good laugh, but this wasn’t funny. It was just… bad. Like, real bad. Folks were sayin’ it was “nonsense,” and they weren’t wrong. Just a bunch of flailing around, nothin’ made sense. Definitely one of the worst, no doubt about it.
Then there’s this match, short as heck. Three seconds! Can you believe it? This girl, Aliyah, brand new, beat Natalya, a tough old bird, in three seconds. Folks say it’s the shortest match ever. I guess that’s somethin’, but it sure wasn’t excitin’. Just boom, over. What a waste of time, I say.
- Shortest match ever, Aliyah versus Natalya.
- Hornswoggle’s mess at Extreme Rules 2007.
And let’s not forget about 1995. Some folks say that whole year was a disaster for wrestling. The champ was this fella named Diesel, and things just weren’t clickin’. They had this weird match at WrestleMania, a football player fightin’ a wrestler. Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow, I think their names were. Didn’t make no sense to me. And then there was this Xanta Klaus fella, dressed up like Santa Claus but… weird. Just a bad, bad year for wrestling, they say. Lots of matches you’d wanna forget.

I remember another one, Yokozuna and Mabel. Big fellas, real big. But big don’t always mean good, you know? This match was just…clumsy. Clotheslines everywhere, punches missin’ by a mile. Felt like they were just stumblin’ around the ring. Not a pretty sight, not at all. Just a big ol’ mess, if you ask me.
Some folks talk about “disturbing” matches. Blood and all that. I ain’t a fan of that stuff. Wrestling’s supposed to be fun, not makin’ you feel sick to your stomach. I heard tell of some matches back in the day, intergender stuff, folks gettin’ beat up bad. Not my cup of tea, I tell ya. Sounds awful.
And then there are those matches that just… fade away. Nobody remembers ’em ’cause they were so bad. Probably for the best, I reckon. You watch wrestling for entertainment, for the excitement, you know? Not to be bored outta your mind or seein’ things that make you wanna turn away. These bad matches, they just ruin the whole thing.
Wrestling history is full of ’em, good matches and bad matches. But the bad ones, they stick with you, even if you don’t want ’em to. Like a bad taste in your mouth. You just hope the next match is better, that’s all you can do.
I heard about this Mr. T fella fightin’ Roddy Piper. People say it was terrible. Didn’t see it myself, but I heard enough. Sometimes, these celebrity matches just don’t work out. Wrestling’s a tough business, gotta know what you’re doin’. Can’t just throw anyone in the ring and expect a good match, you know?
So, yeah, there’s been plenty of bad matches in WWE history. From short and pointless to clumsy and boring to just plain disturbing, they’ve had it all. And while we might laugh about ’em now, or try to forget ’em, they’re still part of wrestling history. A reminder that even in the world of sports entertainment, things don’t always go as planned.
And you know, sometimes, you see these old wrestlers comin’ back. Sunny, Molly Holly, they say. People get excited, but then the match… it ain’t what it used to be. Sad, really. But that’s life, I guess. Things change, and sometimes they get worse before they get better.
So, there you have it. A little bit about some of the worst WWE matches. Just my opinion, of course. But I’ve been watchin’ wrestling for a long time, and I know what I like and what I don’t like. And I definitely don’t like bad wrestling. Nobody does. It’s a waste of time and money, and it just leaves you feelin’ disappointed. But hey, at least it gives us somethin’ to talk about, right?
