Hey, let me tell ya somethin’ about these golf fellas with their fancy tattoos. You know, them fellas hittin’ the little ball with the sticks? Yeah, them. Now, I ain’t no expert, but I seen some things. Lots of these golf guys, they got ink.
One fella, Rory somethin’ or other, they say he’s got some. Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler, Tommy Fleetwood, Dustin Johnson – all them fellas, they got pictures on their skin. Now, golf, it’s kinda like a fancy game, you know? Not like them football boys all rough and tumble. You wouldn’t think these golfers would be gettin’ tattoos, but they are.
Bubba Watson, he got a tattoo of his missus for their weddin’ anniversary. Ten years! That’s a long time, ain’t it? Sweet, though. He got her picture right there on his skin, to show everyone how much he loves her.
- That French fella, Matthieu somethin’, he won a big golf game. Farmers Insurance Open, they called it. He had a tattoo, too. See? They’re everywhere, these tattoos.
Someone told me Lee Trevino, Seve Ballesteros, and even Tiger Woods – you know, Tiger Woods, the famous one – they all got tattoos. I don’t know where, mind you. Didn’t see ’em myself. But folks say they do. And at a ladies’ golf game, the Women’s US Open, someone saw some girls with tattoos too.
Now, some folks might say tattoos ain’t proper for golf. Golf’s all about manners, they say. Not about how you look. But I reckon tattoos don’t matter none. If you can hit that little ball far and straight, who cares if you got pictures on your skin?
Golf was in the Olympics one year. After that, I bet more fellas got tattoos. Maybe to remember it, who knows? These fellas, they like their tattoos, seems like. Maybe it makes ’em play better, ha! I wouldn’t know. I just watch ’em on TV sometimes, hittin’ that little ball.
Tattoos on the skin, it don’t change nothin’ about the game. You still gotta swing the stick and hit the ball. You still gotta be good. So them fellas with their tattoos, they play just as good as anyone else, I reckon.
It’s interestin’, ain’t it? Golf and tattoos. Two things you wouldn’t think go together, but they do. Just goes to show, you can’t judge a book by its cover, or a golfer by his skin. They got their pictures, and they got their game. That’s all that matters.
So, next time you’re watchin’ the golf, look close. See if you can spot them tattoos. They’re there, alright. These golfers, they’re showin’ their colors, just like everyone else. And good for them, I say. Live your life, get your tattoos, and hit that little ball. That’s what I think.
