Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out the LSU baseball schedule for 2024. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you.
First, I started by just doing a simple search online. I typed in “LSU 2024 baseball schedule” and started browsing through the results. I found a few pages that listed some dates and opponents. I saw that LSU is the National Champion from 2023, so that’s pretty cool. They’ve got a coach, Jay Johnson, who seems to be a big deal – he was even named National Coach of the Year last year. Impressive, right?
Then I dug a bit deeper. I found out that the full schedule was released on a Wednesday. I scoured the results. I remembered the schedule started with a game against VMI on February 16th. There were a couple of games against Central Arkansas too, one on the 17th and another on the 19th of February. I also noticed games against Northern Illinois and Stony Brook later in February.

I also learned that the Alex Box Stadium gates and ticket Will Call opens two hours before the game time. Oh, and I found out that the current coach, Jay Johnson, was hired in November. Apparently, since 1947, there have been three LSU coaches, including someone named Skip Bertman.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve managed to piece together so far. It’s not the complete schedule, but it’s a good start. I’ll keep digging and update when I find more. It’s been quite the info hunt, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
