Well, ain’t that somethin’! Talkin’ ’bout golf scores and all. Never really understood that game, hittin’ a tiny ball with a stick, but folks get all riled up ’bout it.
So, they’re sayin’ some fella named Xander, sounds fancy, he got the best score ever at some big golf thing. Twenty-one under somethin’, they call it. Twenty-one less than what they ‘spect, I reckon. Must be pretty good, huh?
Before him, there was others, got twenty under. Still sounds mighty impressive. Folks been playin’ this game for a long time, seems like, and they keep track of all these numbers.
- Heard tell of a fella hittin’ it 55 times in one go. That’s like, fewer hits than I can count on my fingers and toes, almost! Must’ve been a quick game that day.
They say 57 is the lowest in a competition, like when they’re all tryin’ to beat each other. And 58 is the best a professional did. Professional, that means they get paid to play, I guess. Imagine gettin’ paid to whack a ball around!
But Xander, he got 62 at the big thing. Must be a different kind of countin’ there, for the big tournaments. Still the best, they say. Top of the pile, like a good heap of hay.
This Rhein Gibson, he’s the one with the 55. Must be some kinda wizard with that stick. Got 12 birdies, whatever them are, two eagles, sounds like a zoo, and a hole in one. Now, that I understand. Ball goes right in the hole, no messin’ about. Good for him, I say.
Happened back in 2012, seems like a long time ago now. At some place called River Oaks Golf Club. Oaks, like the trees? Must be a pretty place to play.
This Xander fella, he won his first big game this year, 2024. Must be feelin’ mighty proud. All that practice paid off, I suppose.
They talk about Valhalla Golf Club too. Sounds like a place where warriors go! Maybe you gotta fight for that low score.
All these numbers and names, kinda makes my head spin. But folks seem to care a lot about it. So, good for Xander, gettin’ that low score. Must be a real talent with that stick and ball.
Maybe next time, someone will get even lower. Who knows? Seems like they’re always tryin’ to beat each other in this golf thing.
