Well, gotta talk about them Steelers, right? Always somethin’ happenin’ with them boys. Heard somethin’ ’bout them Pirates way back when, but now they’re the Steelers, been that way a long time now. Good team, sometimes good, sometimes… well, you know. They play ball, that’s what matters.
Saw somethin’ ’bout that Fields fella, ain’t playin’ much these days. Benched, they say. Happens, I guess. One day you’re throwin’ the pigskin, next day you’re sittin’ on the sidelines. Life’s like that sometimes.
- Steelers playin’ the Ravens. Big game, always a big game with them Ravens. Heard they were short on players, but they still gotta play. No excuses in football.
- Cleveland game was a nail-biter. Don’t remember all the details, but it was close. Them Browns always give the Steelers a run for their money.
Always hearin’ ’bout this Roethlisberger guy, Tomlin too. Good fellas, know their football. Seen ’em on the TV, talkin’ ’bout plays and such. Smart fellas, know what they’re doin’. Gotta have a good head on your shoulders to coach football, I reckon.
The Steelers winnin’ a bunch, five games in a row, they said. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Keep winnin’, that’s what I say. Makes folks happy ’round here when the Steelers are winnin’. Gives folks somethin’ to cheer about.
Heard somethin’ ’bout Wilson comin’ back next year. Guess we’ll see. Always changin’ players, always somethin’ new. Hard to keep up sometimes. But that’s football, always movin’, always changin’.
Remember watchin’ them Steelers on the old box TV, black and white. Times have changed, ain’t they? Now they got them fancy TVs, colors jump right out at ya. Football’s still football though, no matter what kinda TV you watch it on.
Them Steelers, they got a lotta fans, all over the place. Wear them black and gold jerseys, wave them towels. Good folks, love their team. That’s what it’s all about, supportin’ your team, win or lose.
Heard they got a draft comin’ up, pickin’ new players. Always lookin’ for the next star, the next fella to make a big play. Hope they find some good ones, help the Steelers win some more games. That’s what we all want, ain’t it? To see our team win.
So that’s the news, what I heard anyway. Steelers playin’, winnin’, changin’. Always somethin’ happenin’. Gotta keep your eyes peeled, never know what you’ll see. That’s football, unpredictable, excitin’. And that’s why we love it.
