Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these jeter autographed baseballs. Folks seem to go crazy for ’em, and I reckon I can see why. I mean, this Jeter fella, he was a real good player, everyone says so. Hit the ball hard, ran fast, and always looked tidy out there on the field.
Now, I ain’t no expert, you understand. But even I know that gettin’ somethin’ with his signature on it, well, that’s gotta be worth somethin’. Like them autographed baseballs they sellin’. Folks keep ‘em like they gold or somethin’. My grandson keeps tellin’ me they ain’t just any old balls, these are Derek Jeter original autographed baseball MLB balls.
- First off, you gotta make sure it’s the real deal. There’s a lot of fakes out there, ya know. Folks tryin’ to make a quick buck, sellin’ somethin’ that ain’t worth a lick. So you best be lookin’ for some paper work, somethin’ official that says it’s real, like from that Steiner fella they talk about.
- Then, ya gotta think about the ball itself. Is it new? Is it old? Did he use it in a game? That kinda stuff matters, I guess. A Derek Jeter signed 1998 World Series baseball, that’s gotta be somethin’ special huh? My grandson said that a single-signed baseball by Ruth is worth a lot, so I guess a Jeter one gotta be worth somethin’ too.
Now, where do ya find these things? Well, seems like you can get ’em just about anywhere these days. There’s them online stores, like that place my grandson’s always lookin’ at. He says they got a largest online selection, and free shipping on lots of stuff. Sounds fancy, but I ain’t never bought nothin’ online myself. Too complicated for an old gal like me.
Then there’s them sports places. , that’s what my grandson said. They sell authentic sports memorabilia and sports collectibles, covering all sorts of sports, NFL, NCAA, MLB, Golf, he said. And they got Derek Jeter memorabilia too, exclusively from Steiner Sports. He told me they have Derek Jeter autographed baseballs and Derek Jeter signed jerseys. My grandson’s friend got a baseball autographed by legendary players, hall of famers. I reckon they know what they’re doin’. But they probably charge an arm and a leg, too.

I heard tell some of these balls go for a pretty penny. Hundreds, even thousands of dollars. Can ya believe that? For a baseball! I remember when you could get a whole bucket of ’em for a dollar or two. Times sure have changed. But I guess if folks wanna spend their money on somethin’ like that, well, that’s their business. Just seems a little silly to me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a jeter autographed baseball, just be careful. Make sure it’s real, and don’t pay more than you gotta. And remember, it’s just a baseball. It ain’t gonna change your life or nothin’. But if it makes ya happy, well, I guess that’s all that matters. This piece of baseball memorabilia is a coveted collectable, my grandson said, and if it ain’t real, it ain’t worth a dime. So remember, if it’s real, it is real valuable, but if not, it is just an old baseball.
My grandson showed me somethin’ about how they make sure them cards are real, somethin’ called protocols. I think they do somethin’ like that with the baseballs too, to make sure they are legitimate. And somethin’ about how much it’s worth depends on if the guy was a legendary player, a Hall of Famer, or a popular athlete, that my grandson also told me.
And if you ever find yourself with a jeter autographed baseball and you don’t want it, well, you just come on over and see me. I might know a fella or two who’d be interested. But don’t go thinkin’ I’m gonna pay you top dollar, now. I ain’t made of money, ya know. I’m just an old woman tryin’ to get by, same as everyone else.
Looking for autographed memorabilia items from Derek Jeter? Well, I guess a lot of folks are. He was a good player, that’s for sure. And seems like people are willin’ to pay good money for somethin’ he signed. Just make sure you’re not gettin’ cheated, that’s all. And remember, there’s more to life than baseball, even if it’s a baseball signed by a famous fella like Derek Jeter.
And last thing, if you got one of these here balls, and you need to get it approved for somethin’ or other, there’s that Turn 2 Foundation somethin’ somethin’. You send some papers to mail@* or fax ‘em to that 212-475-3378 number. Then they can send it back with a Proceeds Form you need to fill out. That’s what my grandson was tellin’ me, anyway. He’s always readin’ about this stuff.
