Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a pair of Air Jordan 12s for a while now. They just look so cool, you know? And I finally did it! I snagged a pair of the Brilliant Orange ones, the WNBA edition. They dropped on July 13th, 2023, and I was on it like white on rice. Paid 200 bucks for them, which I think is a pretty good deal. I tried to get them online at first, but I didn’t manage to get them. I had to resort to looking at places like StockX and GOAT, and man, those prices were all over the place.
Finding the right fit:
Anyway, I finally got my hands on them, and they’re even better in person. The color is just… wow. But here’s the thing, I wanted to make sure I styled them right. I mean, you can’t just throw on any old thing with these shoes, right? So, I started experimenting.
- Tried skinny jeans first: Big mistake! Made my feet look like I was wearing clown shoes. Not a good look.
- Then I went with baggy pants: Nope, that was just as bad. It looked totally off, like I was trying too hard. I didn’t want to look like Michael Jordan though.
- The winner? Tapered pants: These were the key. They sit just right on the top of the tongue of the shoe. It’s like they were made for each other.

Keeping it Simple
After I figured out the pants situation, I moved on to the top. I realized pretty quickly that with shoes like these, you gotta keep the rest of your outfit simple. They’re the star of the show, you know? A plain, loose-fitting T-shirt did the trick. Nothing too fancy, just something that let the shoes do the talking. Then, I started playing around with hats. I found a few that matched the orange on the shoes, and they really tied the whole look together. It’s all about balance, you see. You don’t want to overdo it.
So yeah, that’s my story of styling the Air Jordan 12 Brilliant Orange. It took a bit of trial and error, but I think I finally cracked the code. And let me tell you, it feels good to walk around in these kicks, knowing I’m doing them justice.
In the end, I spent quite a lot of time and tried a lot of things to get the outfits right, but it was really worth it! I love wearing them now.
