This here internet thing, it’s got everything, I tell ya! My grandkids, they’re always on it. They showed me this thing, Gotsport, says it’s for sports. I don’t know much about sports, but they say it’s important to keep track of the events schedule. So, here’s what I figured out, bless their hearts.
Gotsport Events, What’s the Deal?
Seems like Gotsport is where you find all them games. You know, like when my grandson played soccer. Lots of runnin’ around, that’s for sure. This Gotsport thing, it lists all sorts of events. Soccer, basketball, you name it. And not just for the little ones neither. Grown folks too, playin’ games. It’s a whole thing.
- First, you gotta get on that Gotsport thing.
- Then, I reckon you look for the schedule part.
- There’s a whole bunch of games listed, gotta find the right one.
They got these things called “filters,” my granddaughter says. Like when I strain my beans, you pick out what you want. You can pick the sport, the place, even the day. Makes it easier to find what you’re lookin’ for, I suppose. One time it showed Raleigh. That’s far. But lots of events there. Some 2024 showcase thing. Fancy!
Findin’ the Schedule, It Ain’t Hard
Once you on that Gotsport, you gotta find where they put the schedule. They got a button somewhere, my grandson showed me, but I forget. Young folks, they click around so fast! Anyway, you click that button and up pops a whole list of games. Times, dates, and all that.

You gotta click a bit, I guess. Young folks are all about the clickin’. Click this, click that. Me, I just like sittin’ on my porch. But if you wanna find them game times, gotta do the clickin’. They even got numbers, like 1-12 of 105, my goodness, that’s a lot of events.
- Click on “Team Management,” whatever that means.
- Then click on “Matches,” sounds rough.
- Pick your team, if you got one, I guess.
My grandkids, they play all sorts of games. Soccer, basketball, even that one where they throw the ball with a stick. They always comin’ home all sweaty and tired. But they seem to like it. And this Gotsport schedule thing, it helps them keep track of it all, I guess. Spring season, they say, gotta have good competition. From Texas and Oklahoma and Arkansas and Kansas! Land sakes.
GotSport Schedule and Teams
Now, this part is tricky. Seems each team, they got their own page on this thing. So, you gotta find your team first. Then, you can see their schedule. Makes sense, I suppose. Wouldn’t want to be showin’ up to the wrong game! They even have this “New Match” button. You can make up your own games I think.
And somethin’ about puttin’ matches on fields. Sounds like a lotta work to me. Draggin’ and clickin’ they say. No thank you. I’d rather be watching the birds.
- Teams got schedules, gotta find your team’s page.
- Then you can see when they’re playin’.
- Don’t show up to the wrong game, that’d be a mess!
GotSport Chat and Other Stuff
Oh, and get this – they got a way to talk to each other on this thing! Like them telephones, but on the computer. They call it “chat.” So, you can talk to the other team, figure out where to go and all that. My granddaughter, she’s always chattin’ with her friends. They even got a guide, I think. Tells you how to look at your game schedule. I don’t need it, I got the young ones to help me.
Sometimes, they say, the times don’t show up. Don’t know why. Maybe the computer’s tired. But they say you can figure it out. Somethin’ about coach conflicts. I don’t know, sounds complicated.
It is all a bit much for me. I like things simple. But the young folks, they seem to get it. This Gotsport events schedule, it’s their way of keepin’ track of things. And if it helps them keep them games straight, well, then I reckon it’s a good thing. They just need to remember to come visit their old grandma once in a while, that’s all I ask! Yep, that Gotsport, it’s somethin’ else. All them games, all them schedules. It’s a busy world out there, even for a bunch of folks just playin’ games.
