Okay, so I’ve been wanting to customize my football helmet for a while now, and I finally took the plunge and bought some NFL helmet stickers. I wanted to share my experience in case any of you are thinking about doing the same thing.
First off, I gotta say there are tons of places to buy these things. I looked all over online. Seriously, it was a lot. After comparing prices and reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to buy the stickers online. Oh, the choices were pretty overwhelming, to be honest.
I ordered a bunch of different team stickers, plus some of those cool, individual number and stripe ones. When the package arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Ripped that thing open and started spreading all the stickers out on my table.
The application process was pretty straightforward. I cleaned my helmet really well first, gotta get all that grime off. Then, you just peel the backing off the stickers and stick them on. The instructions were pretty easy.

Here’s a tip: use a little bit of soapy water on the helmet surface before you stick them on. Makes it way easier to slide them around and get them positioned perfectly. Trust me, I learned this the hard way on the first couple.
- First, clean your helmet: I used a regular cleaner and made sure it was dry.
- Second, peel and stick: The stickers were easy to peel off and put on.
- Third, smooth it out: I used a little credit card thingy to get any air bubbles out.
I spent a good couple of hours messing around with different designs. Moved the stickers around, swapped some out, the whole nine yards. It was actually pretty fun, once I got the hang of it.
The result? My helmet looks awesome! It’s totally unique, and I get tons of compliments on it. It’s just way more fun to wear now. If you’re on the fence about doing this, I say go for it! It’s a cheap and easy way to personalize your helmet and show off your team spirit. Just make sure you take your time and do it right, and you’ll be stoked with the results.
And one more thing! I picked up a set of 105 stickers, which had 35 football stickers, 35 helmet stickers, and 35 team stickers. It was more than enough, and I even have some left over for future projects.
