So, the other day, I got this wild idea to check out the All-American golf tournament. I’d heard a bit about it, figured, why not? It sounded pretty cool, and I’ve been itching to get out and do something different.
First thing I did was try to find out when this thing was happening. Turns out, it was scheduled for July 20, 2024. A Saturday. Perfect! I marked it down on my calendar right away. It’s going down at Stevens Park Golf Course in Dallas. I’ve never been there, but hey, there’s a first time for everything, right?
Then I started digging a little deeper. I learned that this tournament is a big deal for amateur golfers. I mean, these are the best of the best from all three NCAA divisions, plus the NAIA. It’s called The Patriot All-America Invitational, and it’s hosted by the West Valley Mavericks Foundation. That got me even more pumped.
I found out that this year’s event is the 14th annual one. That’s a pretty long run, so they must be doing something right. It’s a three-round event, and this time it was from December 29-31, 2022. I was a bit late for this year, but it’s okay, I got next year.
What really got me was the whole vibe of the event. It’s not just about golf; it’s about bringing people together. Friends, colleagues, you name it. A day out in the fresh air, some friendly competition – it sounded like just what I needed.
- Checked the date and location: July 20, 2024, at Stevens Park Golf Course, Dallas.
- Learned about the tournament: The Patriot All-America Invitational, hosted by the West Valley Mavericks Foundation.
- Got excited about the atmosphere: A mix of top amateur golf and a great social event.
I’m already thinking about who I might invite along. It’s going to be a blast. I can just picture it: a sunny day, some great golf, and good times with friends. Can’t wait!
I will keep going to find more information about this tournament and make sure I don’t miss it next year.
