Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with this idea for a while, and I finally decided to just dive in and do it. I’m talking about setting up a tournament for the first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Yeah, you heard that right! It’s something that’s been buzzing around the wrestling community for a bit, and I figured, why not make it happen, at least in my own little world?
First things first, I had to figure out who was going to be in this tournament. I spent a good chunk of time scrolling through the WWE roster, looking at who’s been making waves on Raw. I mean, we’ve got some serious talent, so it wasn’t easy narrowing it down. Ultimately, I went with a mix of established stars and some up-and-comers who I think deserve a shot at the spotlight.
Next up, I had to actually create the championship belt. Now, I’m no designer, but I gave it my best shot. I based it on the men’s Intercontinental title, you know, the classic design. But I wanted to make it a bit smaller and put it on a white strap, just to give it that feminine touch. And of course, I swapped out the word “Heavyweight” for “Women’s.” It turned out pretty decent if I do say so myself.
Then came the fun part—booking the matches! I started the tournament on December 2nd, 2024, just because it sounded good. I decided to spread the matches across a few episodes of Raw, just to build up the anticipation, you know? I tried to come up with some interesting pairings, like that one where I matched up, Kai, and Raquel Rodriguez. They had some killer matches.

Here’s how the tournament bracket looked:
- Round 1:
- Match 1: Kai wins, and then she goes on to the next round.
- Match 2: Rodriguez, who I think has a good shot, moves on as well.
- Match 3: This one was a real nail-biter, but it came down to another win.
- Match 4: You won’t believe it, but after a tough fight, another strong competitor advances.
- Semi-Finals:
- Semi-Final 1: So, after a grueling match, a finalist is decided.
- Semi-Final 2: And in another intense battle, the other finalist emerges.
I haven’t actually decided on the final match yet. I’m still toying with a few ideas, but I’m thinking it’s going to be epic. I mean, we’re talking about crowning the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion here. It’s gotta be a big deal!
This whole thing has been a blast. It’s like, I get to play booker, designer, and fan all at once. And while it’s all just for fun, it’s cool to think about what it would be like if WWE actually did this. I mean, they’ve already got some great women’s titles, like the ones Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have held. But adding an Intercontinental Championship to the mix? That would just take things to a whole new level.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to. It’s been a lot of work, but honestly, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. And who knows, maybe one day WWE will make this a reality. Until then, I’ll just keep dreaming and booking my own little tournaments.
