Okay, so, let me tell you about this WWE SmackDown event I checked out in Buffalo. It was on November 8, 2024, and I was pretty pumped to see what was gonna happen after that Crown Jewel thing in Saudi Arabia.
I headed over to the KeyBank Center, which is a pretty big place in Buffalo. The show was starting at 7:45 PM, so I made sure to get there a bit early to soak in the atmosphere, you know? There were tons of fans around, all buzzing with excitement, and you could feel the energy in the air.
Once I got inside, I found my seat and settled in. I grabbed some snacks—gotta have snacks at a wrestling show, right? —and then just waited for the show to start. It’s always fun people-watching at these things. There were fans of all ages, some wearing their favorite wrestler’s t-shirts, others with signs and all that.
- Showtime: 7:45 PM
- Snacks: Check
- Excitement level: High
The show itself was a blast. I mean, SmackDown always delivers, but this one was special because it was dealing with all the fallout from Crown Jewel. There were some great matches, a few surprises, and the crowd was into it the whole time. I won’t spoil anything here in case you’re planning on catching it later, but let’s just say it kept me on the edge of my seat.

One thing I noticed is that SmackDown is going to be three hours long starting in 2025, which is pretty wild. It’s usually on USA Network on Friday nights, and I also know it’s on TNT Sports in the UK. They even have a shorter version on 5Action over there, which is cool for folks who can’t commit to the whole three hours.
After the show, I hung around for a bit, chatting with some other fans about what we just saw. It’s always interesting to hear other people’s takes on the matches and storylines. Then I headed home, still buzzing from the whole experience.
Overall Thoughts
It was a really fun night. I mean, if you’re into WWE, you know what to expect, but it’s always a good time. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one.
