Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this soccer thing in Gillette, Wyoming. This Gillette, see, it’s a place where they got that big ol’ soccer tournament. Lots of folks come from all over for the Gillette WY soccer tournament. They call it soccer, but it’s just kickin’ a ball around, ain’t it? I seen ’em do it. Kids runnin’ and yellin’, parents hollerin’ from the sidelines. Whole lotta commotion for a ball game, if you ask me.
Now, they got this thing, the Equality Cup Soccer Tournament, I hear. It’s in October, like around the 11th or 12th. If you wanna go, that is. There is also the CCJFA Games Football around October 3rd and 5th, but I don’t know if that is soccer or something else. And this town, Gillette, it ain’t that big, but when that soccer tournament rolls around, it’s packed tighter than a tick on a hound dog.
You wanna get to this Gillette place? Well, you can take a plane, a train, or one of them big buses. I heard that FlixBus is a good one. They say it’s the best way to get there, cheaper than a two-dollar hen. And they say it’s easy, like fallin’ off a log. They even got them cars, like them Uber things, but I don’t know nothin’ about that. Sounds fancy to me. Some folks say if you’re gonna use one of them Ubers, walk a few blocks from the stadium first. Makes it easier to get one, they say. You can just get a bus. Just get there. That’s all that matters. This Gillette is somewhere near Boston and Providence, or so I hear. One of them is 29 miles away, the other is 25. Don’t ask me which is which.
They got this other thing too, somethin’ called the K2 Technologies Clash at the CAM-PLEX. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? It’s another one of them soccer things, but they do it inside. They call it “futsal”. I don’t know what that means, but it’s probably just more kickin’ and runnin’. This one is in February, I hear, every year. So if you want to go to Gillette, there’s plenty of soccer to see.

This CAM-PLEX place, it’s big, I reckon. They say it’s one of the best places around for this indoor soccer. Lots of folks go there for it. They got six of somethin’, maybe fields, I don’t know. But it’s a big deal, this Gillette WY soccer tournament. People come from all over just to kick a ball around.
Now, I ain’t never been to one of these soccer games myself. But I hear about ’em. Lots of folks talkin’ about the Gillette WY soccer tournament. It’s a big thing, I guess. People get all excited, just like they do when it’s time for the county fair. Only it is a bunch of kids playing with a ball. It’s just somethin’ to do, I reckon. Keeps ’em busy.
