Alright, let’s talk about this 2024 Prizm WNBA thing. I heard folks chatterin’ about it, so I figured I’d poke around and see what the fuss is all about. Now, I ain’t no expert, mind you. Just a regular person tryin’ to make sense of it all.
First off, they say it’s comin’ out January 12th. That’s what I heard, anyway. Sounds like a big deal for folks who like collectin’ them basketball cards. You know, the shiny ones with the pictures of the ladies playin’ ball. They call ’em Prizm cards, I think.
- Release Date: January 12th
- Shiny Cards: Prizm
- Basketball Ladies
Now, this ain’t just any ol’ cards, see? This here is the WNBA. That’s the women’s basketball league. They got some real talent, let me tell you. These cards, they got pictures of all them good players. Past and present, they say. So, you got the old-timers and the young whippersnappers, all mixed together.
I heard somethin’ about Panini too. Sounds like a fancy Italian name, like the bread. But I guess they’re the ones makin’ these cards. And they ain’t just makin’ Prizm cards neither. They got all sorts of ’em. Monopoly Prizm, they call it. Sounds like a game and cards all rolled into one. You collect ’em, trade ’em, build a team, somethin’ like that. I ain’t quite sure how it all works, but folks seem to like it.

2024 Panini Monopoly Prizm WNBA Basketball…that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? They got checklist, and odds, and blaster boxes, all sorts of fancy words. Don’t ask me what it all means. I reckon it’s got somethin’ to do with how rare the cards are and how much they’re worth. Some of them are super short print, they call ’em SSP. That means there ain’t many of ’em, so they’re probably worth a pretty penny.
Then there’s this Select WNBA thing. First time they’re doin’ it, apparently. More cards, I guess. They got autographs and memorabilia cards too. That means the players signed some of ’em, and some of ’em got pieces of jerseys or somethin’ stuck on ’em. Fancy stuff, I tell ya.
2024 Panini Select WNBA Basketball Cards, that’s another one. And 2024 Panini Origins WNBA Basketball Cards too! Seems like they’re makin’ a whole bunch of different kinds. Origins, they say, has got stunning autographs and inserts. More fancy words, but I reckon it means they’re pretty to look at.
So, you got your Prizm, your Monopoly Prizm, your Select, your Origins… it’s enough to make your head spin. But I guess that’s what folks like about it. It’s like a treasure hunt, tryin’ to find all the good ones. And it ain’t cheap neither. I heard some of them cards go for a lot of money. But hey, if folks wanna spend their hard-earned cash on it, that’s their business.
They talk about hobby box breakdown too. I guess that’s what you get when you buy a whole box of cards. You never know what you’re gonna get, that’s part of the fun, I suppose. It’s like a lottery ticket, but instead of winnin’ money, you win shiny pictures of basketball players.
And then there’s all this talk about 2024-25 Panini Prizm Basketball… wait a minute, is that the same thing? Or is that the men’s cards? See, this is where it gets confusing. Too many cards, too many names, too much goin’ on. I can barely keep track of my own groceries, let alone all these basketball cards.
Draft, trade, and compete… that’s what they say you do with these cards. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I’d rather just sit on the porch and watch the birds. But I can see why folks get into it. It’s a hobby, like collectin’ stamps or coins, I guess. It gives folks somethin’ to do.
Exclusive Black Color Blast… that’s another thing they mentioned. Sounds fancy and important. I bet those are the ones that cost a lot of money. They say it’s the top WNBA stars. So, I guess if you get one of those, you hit the jackpot.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this 2024 Prizm WNBA stuff. It’s a bunch of basketball cards, some are shiny, some are signed, some are rare, and some are expensive. If you’re into that sort of thing, then I reckon you’ll have a good time. Me? I think I’ll stick to my crossword puzzles. At least I know what I’m gettin’ with them.
But hey, to each their own, right? If it makes folks happy, then that’s all that matters. Just don’t go spendin’ your life savings on them cards, ya hear? There’s more to life than shiny pieces of cardboard.
Anyways, that’s my two cents. Hope it helped you understand this whole 2024 Prizm WNBA thing a little better. Or maybe it just confused you more. Either way, I tried my best. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go water my tomatoes.
