Alright, so you wanna know about this WWE thing coming to Omaha, Nebraska in 2024, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I heard.
WWE Smackdown is Coming to Omaha!
First off, they’re callin’ it somethin’ fancy, “WWE Friday Night Smackdown”. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Anyways, it’s gonna be at that big place, the CHI Health Center, on July 19th. I heard tell it’s gonna be a real hootenanny.
- Date: July 19th
- Place: CHI Health Center Omaha, Nebraska
- What: WWE Friday Night Smackdown
Now, I ain’t no expert on this wrestlin’ stuff, mind you. But from what I gather, it ain’t like real fightin’. It’s more like… well, like a play, but with a lot more jumpin’ and slammin’ and such. They call it “entertainment-based performance theater,” whatever that means.

They got stories and all, like those soap operas on TV. These fellas and gals pretend to hate each other and then they wrestle it out in the ring. Sounds silly, but folks seem to love it.
Getting Your Tickets
Now, if you wanna go see this Smackdown thing, you gotta get yourself some tickets. And from what I hear, that ain’t always easy.
You can try Ticketmaster, that’s what the young’uns use these days. Just go on their website and search for “WWE Omaha” and you should find it. Or so they tell me. I ain’t never used one of them computer contraptions myself.
I also heard tell of somethin’ called Vivid Seats. They sell tickets too, seems like. And they got tickets for them Nebraska Cornhuskers too, whatever that is. Football, maybe? All these young folks and their sports.
Meet and Greet – If You Got the Dough
Now, if you’re real fancy and got a whole heap of money, you can get these “meet and greet” tickets. That means you get to actually meet them wrestlers, shake their hands and such. But let me tell you, it ain’t cheap!
I heard some of them tickets cost a thousand dollars! Some even cost five thousand! Can you believe that? For just shakin’ a fella’s hand? Must be some powerful handshakes, I reckon.
And don’t expect them prices to go down, neither. These meet and greet tickets are special, see? So they stay expensive.
Buying WWE Stuff
And of course, they got all sorts of things to sell you at these events. Shirts, hats, little toys and such. They call it “merchandise.” Like those folks sellin’ stuff on the side of the road, only fancier, I guess.
I heard tell that a company called Fanatics is gonna be sellin’ all that stuff. They sell stuff at all them big wrestlin’ shows, like WrestleMania and that Royal Rumble thing. Sounds like a big deal.
Is it Dangerous?
Now, even though it’s all pretend, I heard it can be dangerous sometimes. Them wrestlers do all sorts of flippin’ and jumpin’ and slammin’, and sometimes they get hurt. Real bad, even. So, it ain’t all fun and games.
So, Should You Go?
Well, that’s up to you, ain’t it? If you like watchin’ folks pretend to fight, then you might enjoy it. It sounds like a big to-do, and folks seem to have a good time. Just be prepared to spend some money, and don’t be surprised if you see some folks gettin’ tossed around like rag dolls.
And if you do go, you tell me all about it. I’ll be sittin’ on my porch, sippin’ my sweet tea, and waitin’ to hear all the gossip.
Presales and Other Fancy Stuff
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot. They got this thing called “presales.” That means you can get tickets before everyone else, but you gotta be special or somethin’. I don’t know how it works. You gotta be part of some club or have some special code or something. Too complicated for me, that’s for sure.
But if you’re one of them fancy folks who knows about presales, you can get your tickets early and maybe get better seats. Or maybe it’s all just a bunch of hooey. I wouldn’t know.

Anyways, that’s all I know about this WWE thing comin’ to Omaha. Hope it helps ya out. And if you see any of them wrestlers, tell ‘em I said howdy.
