But I seen kids kickin’ the ball around in the summer too, even when it’s hotter than a skillet! Soccer’s a year-round thing, I guess. You just gotta find a league that fits your schedule.
And what about this here video game stuff? I heard my grandson talkin’ about some “Soccer Legends” game, where you can play on your TV or your phone or whatever. He says it’s just like the real thing, but you don’t gotta run around so much. I don’t know about all that, seems like a lazy way to play soccer to me, but the kids seem to like it.
But whether it’s on a field, or on a screen, or just kickin’ a can down the road, soccer is a big part of life here in El Paso.
