Alright, so you wanna hear about this Matt Kaulig fella and his racing team, huh? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t gonna be fancy, mind you, just plain talk, like you’re sittin’ here with me on the porch, sippin’ sweet tea.
First off, this Kaulig guy, he’s got himself a racin’ team. Kaulig Racing, they call it. They run them fancy cars, the kind that go zoomin’ around the track real fast. NASCAR, that’s it. Big deal, I guess, lots of folks like watchin’ ‘em. They got this fella, Van Gisbergen, drove real good in one race, almost caught the leader, but then, wouldn’t ya know it, somethin’ happened, a “caution” they called it. Stopped him right in his tracks, almost. His team, the number 97 car, they decided not to pit, stayed out on the track. Don’t ask me why, these racin’ fellas, they got their own ways of thinkin’.
Now, somethin’ big is happenin’ with Kaulig Racing. They gonna get themselves another car, the number 10, startin’ next year, 2025. Big news, I reckon, means they’re doin’ alright, growin’ their business. Heard tell they’re based outta Lexington, North Carolina. Nice place, I hear, lots of trees and good country folk.

I heard some talk on the radio the other day, somethin’ about Matt Kaulig and another fella, Michael Bagley, chattin’ about the 2022 season. Sounded like they had a good year, or maybe not so good, hard to tell with them radio fellas, always talkin’ so fast. They was on somethin’ called a “podcast,” newfangled way of talkin’, I guess. You can find it on somethin’ called the “MRN Network,” whatever that is. Said somethin’ ‘bout lookin’ up “Kaulig Racing” if you wanna know more. They got a website and all that stuff.
And just the other day, I saw in the paper, Champion Container Corporation, they’re hookin’ up with Kaulig Racing. Champion Container, they make boxes and stuff, big ones, for factories and such. Guess they’re sponsorin’ the team, givin’ ‘em money, and gettin’ their name on the car. That’s how it works, see? Money makes the world go ‘round, even in racin’.
Seems like there’s always news about Kaulig Racing. You can find it all over, on the internet, in the papers, even on the TV sometimes. They got folks writin’ about ‘em, analyzin’ their racin’, talkin’ about the drivers and how they’re doin’. Wins and losses, standings, all that jazz. Matt Kaulig himself, he was talkin’ ‘bout the Daytona 500, big race, said it was gonna be wild. He was right, I bet, them races always are.
So, that’s the gist of it, what I know about Matt Kaulig and his racin’ team. They’re busy fellas, always racin’, always makin’ deals, always in the news. Good for them, I say. Keeps things interestin’, gives us somethin’ to talk about. Now, you want some more tea?
