Things are too complicated these days, if you ask me.
They also got these “fixtures” and “results.” Fixtures are like, who’s gonna play who. And results, well, that’s just who won, plain and simple. They even got “match details,” whatever that means. Probably how many times the ball went over the net, or somethin’. Who keeps track of this stuff, I dunno. Young folks got too much time on their hands, that’s what I say.
Oh, and they got these “standings” too. That’s like, who’s the best of the best, I think. Like, who won the most games and all that. It’s like a competition within a competition. Too much thinkin’ for me. I just wanna know who won at the end of the day.
So, if you wanna know the Cleveland tennis scores, you gotta go on that internet thingy and look it up. Flashscore, BBC Sport, whatever. They got all the numbers you could ever want. Me? I’d rather be watchin’ the birds outside. But you young folks, you like your numbers and your fancy websites. So go on, get outta here and find them scores.
