Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this wrasslin’ thing comin’ to Orlando. They call it WWE Raw, somethin’ like that. Sounds like a whole lotta noise and folks thumpin’ each other, but hey, people seem to like it.
So, this here WWE Raw, they’re comin’ to that big place downtown, the Amway Center. Yeah, you know the one, where they have all them fancy shows and basketball games. They say it’s on Church Street, but I ain’t never been there myself. Too much traffic and city folk for my likin’.
Now, they’re sayin’ these wrasslers are comin’ back. Been here before, I reckon. Folks keep goin’ back for more, so it must be somethin’ special. They’re callin’ ‘em WWE Superstars. Superstars, huh? I bet they ain’t never milked a cow or plowed a field in their lives. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
- They gonna be there on August 9th, that’s what I heard. Mark it on your calendar if you care about that kinda thing.
- And then, seems like they comin’ again in February, the 6th I think. Twice in one year! Must be makin’ a lotta money off these city folks.
You can get tickets, they say. Gotta pay money, of course. Nothin’s free these days, not even a good ol’ fashioned howdy. I heard tell you can buy ‘em online or somethin’. Fancy stuff, I tell ya. Back in my day, you just showed up and paid at the door, but times have changed, I guess.

This Amway Center, it’s a big deal, seems like. They always havin’ somethin’ goin’ on there. But this WWE Raw, it sounds like a real ruckus. They say it’s gonna be on a Monday night. Monday nights are for washin’ clothes and gettin’ ready for the week, but city folk like to do things different, I suppose.
Monday Night Raw, that’s what they keep callin’ it. Raw, huh? I bet it’s loud and sweaty. All them fellas in their tight pants and shiny boots, jumpin’ around and yellin’. And the crowd, they go wild, screamin’ and hollerin’. Not my cup of tea, but folks enjoy it, so good for them.
They say it’s on TV too. You can watch it from your couch, if you got one of them fancy tell-a-visions. Different channels, dependin’ on where you live, I guess. They talk about USA Network and Sportsnet, but I ain’t got no cable, so it don’t matter much to me.
This here wrasslin’ thing, it’s been goin’ on for a long time, seems like. Generations of folks watchin’ it. I remember my grandpappy talkin’ about wrasslers back in his day. Different names, different moves, but the same idea, I reckon. People thumpin’ each other and puttin’ on a show.
So, if you’re in Orlando and you like that kinda thing, go on down to the Amway Center and check it out. Just be careful, them city streets can be tricky. And don’t forget to bring your earplugs, ‘cause I bet it’s gonna be loud!
And one more thing, they used to do these wrasslin’ shows at the Amway Center even when that sickness was goin’ around. You know, the one that made everybody wear them masks? Guess they figured out how to do it safe, or maybe folks just got tired of stayin’ home. Either way, they back at it now, so get your tickets if you want ’em.
Anyways, that’s all I know ‘bout this WWE Raw thing. Just a bunch of noise and thumpin’, as far as I can tell. But hey, it keeps folks entertained, and that’s somethin’, I guess. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
