Well, let me tell ya ’bout this young fella, Ethan Jackson, plays baseball, you know? Seems like a strong boy, they say he’s got a “stout build on a sturdy frame.” Don’t rightly know what all that fancy talk means, but I reckon he’s built like a brick, you know, not like them skinny fellas always fallin’ over.
Heard tell he’s goin’ to the University of Washington. Good for him, I say. Smart boy, playin’ ball and gettin’ an education. He thanked his family and friends, which is right and proper. Always gotta be grateful to them that helped ya along the way, ain’t that right?
This Perfect Game fella, they got a whole profile on him. Says he’s class of 2025. Guess that means he’s still young, lots of time to grow and get stronger. They call themselves the “world’s largest and most comprehensive scouting organization.” Big words, them. But I guess they know what they’re talkin’ about, seein’ as how they got all them MLB players.
They got all sorts of numbers and stats, talkin’ ’bout “Trackman Leaders” and “Statistical Breakdown.” Don’t understand a lick of it, but sounds important. Somethin’ ’bout “American Dream Baseball,” which sounds nice. Everyone’s got a dream, ain’t they? His is baseball, I reckon.

- High School: Woodbridge High, VA
- Height and Weight: 5′ 8″, 165 lbs
- Throws and Bats: Right/Right
- Age: 17 years and 4 months (as of some time ago, they didn’t tell me when!)
- Travel Team: Metro Senators
They even say he plays outfield, number 16. Good position, outfield. Gotta run fast and catch them balls. Heard he also plays catcher and third base sometimes. Seems like he can do it all. This other report says he’s from Pleasanton, California, and goes to Amador Valley. Six foot one and 200 pounds, that’s a big boy! Maybe them other numbers were old, or maybe there’s two Ethan Jacksons playin’ ball. Wouldn’t be the first time, I tell ya.
And then there’s talk of him playin’ for Trosky SW 2025, position first base. He’s only 16 in that report. See? Confusin’, all these different teams and ages. But one thing’s for sure, this Ethan Jackson, he’s a busy boy, playin’ ball all over the place.
Now, they also got some older information, from way back in 2009 to 2013. This must be a different Ethan Jackson, older fella. They got all his baseball stats, MLB, Minor League, College, all that. Says he played in the summer league too. They got his biography, draft info, salary, even awards he won. This one’s a real pro, it seems. Shows ya what hard work and dedication can do.
So, there ya have it. Two Ethan Jacksons, maybe more. One young fella comin’ up, and another one who already made it to the big leagues. Baseball, it’s a tough game, but a good game. Teaches ya discipline, teamwork, and how to hit a ball real far. Wish ’em both the best, I do.
